In November 2018, the European Foundation for Support of Culture, together with the Kazakh National University of Arts, will hold the Eurasian Music Games in Astana – the capital, with a reputation that has transcended national borders and made it a deserving participant of the Capitals’ Club of the modern world.
The Music Games programme will include concerts by world renowned celebrities of classical music, master classes by leading professors on singing, piano and violin; competitions for young talented musicians in different disciplines.
Concerts of the Music Games will take place at the best concert halls of Astana with participation of such famous orchestras as the State Academic Symphony Orchestra of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Eurasia Symphony Orchestra, the Karaganda Philharmonic Orchestra, and the Kazakh State Chamber Orchestra “Academy of Soloists”.
Young musicians from all over the world will come to Astana to take part in the competition and attend master-classes by renowned professors. The main goal of the competition is the discovery and support of talented young musicians, promotion and development of moral values, enhancement of the common cultural space, preservation and development of participants’ cultural potential, creation of conditions for creative self-realisation, and growth of creative potential among children and young people.
