Armenia International Music Festival

From 24 to 28 September, the European Foundation for Support of Culture, led by Konstantin Ishkhanov, in cooperation with the Armenian State Symphony Orchestra, will present the 4th edition of the Armenia Music Festival 2020, which will be held in the Armenian capital Yerevan.

The Festival will feature concerts by the Armenian State Symphony Orchestra at the Erevan’s best music hall - Sport and Concert Complex
after Karen Demirchyan - under the directions o Dmitry Yablonsky and Marius Stravinsky.

The Festival’s soloists will be the brightest stars of the classical music world: winner of the Queen Elizabeth competition Denis Kozhukhin (Belgium);  pianist and conductor Frederic Kempf, winner of the prestigious Classical BRIT Awards, Honorary Doctor of Music at Kent University (Great Britain), winner and award recipient of many international competitions, including the Tchaikovsky International Competition; clarinetist Andreas Ottensamer – soloist of the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra (Austria); violinist Zia Hyunsu Shin (South Korea), winner of the Long–Thibaud–Crespin Competition and laureate of the Queen Elizabeth competition; violinist Stella Chen, recipient of a 2020 Avery Fisher Career Grant and 2020 Lincoln Center Emerging Artist Award, winner of the Queen Elisabeth International Violin Competition; pianist Andrey Gugnin, laureate of the Beethoven International Piano Competition, winner of the Sydney International Piano Competition; cellist Narek Hakhnazaryan,  winner of the Tchaikovsky Competition and many others.

The festival program will consist of works by distinguished Armenian, Maltese, and other composers.
