MUSIC-20 International Music Festival in Armenia

Great news for classical music lovers!

WhatsApp Image 2020-07-10 at 14.01.08 (1)The European Foundation for Support of Culture together with the Armenian State Symphony Orchestra is organizing the first in the world large classical music Festival after the COVID-19 measures were lifted MUSIC-20. The Festival will take place from 10th to 28th July in the Armenian capital Yerevan.

What makes this event so special and unique is that apart from the possibility to come and listen to the internationally acclaimed stars performing with the ASSO under the batons of brilliant conductors is that everyone will be able to watch the concerts online from different corners of the world. 9 symphonic concerts, 5 chamber ones, 3 recitals, 2 ensembles performing, and many more!

Festival Schedule:

  • 10 July, TRIO: Sergei Dogadin (violin), Boris Andrianov (cello) and Philipp Kopachevsky (piano)
  • 11 July, Haik Melikyan will perform, the Festival chamber orchestra will perform under the baton of Rustem Abyazov;
  • 12 July, Philip Kopachevsky (piano) will perform together with the Festival chamber orchestra under the baton of Marius Stravinsky;
  • 13 July, Piano recital by Philip Kopachevsky
  • 14 July, Boris Andrianov (cello) will perform together with the Festival chamber orchestra under the baton of Rustem Abyazov;
  • 15 July, Sergei Dogadin (violin) will perform together with the ASSO under the baton of Marius Stravinsky;
  • 16 July, Francesca Dego (violin) will perform together with the ASSO under the baton of Sergey Smbatyan;
  • 17 July, Veronika Dzhioeva (soprano) will perform together with the ASSO under the baton of Sergey Smbatyan;
  • 18 July,Haik Kazazian (violin) will perform together with the ASSO under the baton of Dmitry Yablonsky;
  • 19 July, Hripsime Aghakaryan (violin) will perform together with the ASSO under the baton of Sergey Smbatyan.
  • 20 July, Alexander Ramm (cello) will perform together with the ASSO under the baton of Dmitry Yablonsky;
  • 21 July, Piano recital by Andrey Gugnin;
  • 22 July, Russian quartet (Ksenia Gamaris, First violin; Petr Karetnikov, Cello; Anna Yanchishin, Second violin; Ksenia Zhuleva, Viola)
  • 23 July, Nikita Mndoyants (piano) will perform together with the ASSO under the baton of Gianluca Marcianò (Italy);
  • 24 July, Igor Fedorov (clarinet) will perform together with the ASSO under the baton of Alan Chircop;
  • 25 July, Alexander Ghindin (piano) will perform together with the Festival chamber orchestra under the baton of Alan Chircop;
  • 26 July, Gevorg Hakobyan, the Festival chamber orchestra will perform under the baton of Alan Chircop;
  • 27 July, Piano recital by Gloria Campaner;
  • 28 July, Andrey Baranov (violin) will perform together with the ASSO under the baton of Sergey Smbatyan;
