In October 2019, according to tradition, the European Foundation for Support of Culture, in cooperation with the Kazakh National University of Arts, held the Eurasian Stars International Music Festival in Nur-Sultan, capital of Kazakhstan, whose fame has crossed national borders, making it a worthy participant in the modern world’s “Club of Capitals”.
The Eurasian Stars programme included concerts by world-famous stars of classical music, master classes by leading professors of vocal performance, piano and violin, contests for talented young musicians in different disciplines. The Art Director of the Festival was maestro Mikhail Kirchhoff, chief guest conductor of the Academy of Soloists State Orchestra of Kazakhstan.
On September 27 the State Academic Symphony Orchestra of the Republic of Kazakhstan performed together with Philipp Kopachevsky (piano) under the conduction of Dmitry Yablonsky. The programme included works by renowned Maltese and other European composers
