II Symphonic Middle East International Music Festival in Dubai, UAE

From the 14th of February to the 14th of March 2022, the European Foundation for Support of Culture, together with SAMIT Event Group, will present the prestigious Symphonic Middle East Festival in Dubai. The project will involve a large number of soloists, conductor and orchestras from all over the world, bringing together a unique series of performances by some of the most important artists of the classical music panorama. The concerts will take place at the Dubai Opera and other prestigious venues of the city.

 

Some of the soloists participating will be: first prize at the Montreal International Violin Competition, violinist Marc Bouchkov; gold medal at the Sixth International Tchaikovsky Competition, pianist Mikhail Pletnev; first prize and Golden Medal at the XVI International Tchaikovsky Competition in Moscow, violinist Dogadin Sergei; gold medal at the XIV International Tchaikovsky Competition, cellist Narek Hakhnazaryan; 

 

Moreover: five prizes at the XIII International Tchaikovsky Competition, violinist Nikita Boriso-Glebsky; winner at the 11th International Tchaikovsky Competition, pianist Denis Matsuev; gold medallist of the Fifteenth Van Cliburn International Piano Competition, pianist Yekwon Sunwoo; prize winner at the Tchaikovsky International Competition in Moscow, cellist Alexander Knyazev; hero of the 1998 Tchaikovsky Piano Competition in Moscow, pianist Freddy Kempf; First Prize at the prestigious Joseph Joachim Hannover International Competition, violinist Fumiaki Miura and many other prestigious musicians.

 

Some of the world-renowned conductors taking part in the Symphonic Middle East Festival will be Sergey Smbatyan, Dmitry Yablonsky, Alexander Sladkovsky, Mikhail Kirchhoff, amongst many others.

 

Finally, there will be orchestras from different countries, including: Malta Philharmonic Orchestra (MPO), Tatarstan State Symphony Orchestra (Russia), Armenia State Symphony Orchestra (ASSO), Bursa State Symphony Orchestra (Turkey), Jerusalem Symphony Orchestra (Israel), Kazakhstan State Symphony Orchestra and others.
