All participants benefit from the guidance of internationally renowned Festival soloists, who guide their artistic development in the idyllic setting of Lerici. This year is of course special. We have chosen wonderful young professionals who are mostly based in Italy and work in some of the most prestigious Italian institutions. We want to offer them a chance to restart their music-making after a painfully long delay caused by COVID-19. The Festival's Orchestra will perform under the baton of the founder and artistic director of the Festival Gianluca Marcianò.

The Festival’s opening concert will be supported by the Opera for Peace cultural organization featuring Sumi Jo (soprano) and Gianluca Marcianò (piano). During the project the audience will have a chance to listen to the internationally acclaimed Italian stars such as Alberto Bologni (Violin), Anna Tifu (Violin), Beatrice Rana (Piano), Carmen Giannattasio (Soprano), Costanza Principe (Piano), Erica Piccotti (Cello), Fabio Armiliato (Tenor), Federica Severini (Violin), Francesco Fiore (Viola), Gabriele Pieranunzi (Violin), Gaia Gaibazzi (Clarinet), Giulio Plotino (Violin), Giuseppe Bruno (Piano), Gloria Campaner (Piano), Mario Stefano Pietrodarchi (Bandoneon), Massimo Spada (Piano), Paolo Carlini (Bassoon), Silvia Careddu (Flute), Vincenzo Costanzo (Tenor) and many others. Together artists will perform famous works by European composers. The main program of the Festival will also include pieces dedicated to Ludwig van Beethoven's 250th anniversary.

Within the Festival there will be a master-class series given by leading professors, where the young musicians will have a chance to take part in violin, saxophone, viola, flute, and orchestral workshops.

Alexey Shor - Festival's Composer-in-Residence.
